An Exeter man facing murder charges enters a not-guilty plea at his formal arraignment in Luzerne County court. 51-year-old Jose Cruz is accused of fatally stabbing 57-year-old Richard Feiner at the Melody Motel in Plains Township last September. Police say they aren`t sure what Cruz used to stab Feiner, but a woman traveling with him just after it happened said she saw him throw a shiny metal object, possibly a letter opener, out the window. State Police combed the sides of the highway in Plains Township, but never found the object. Police believe cruz also stole drugs and money from feiner that night. He`s currently in jail without bail awaiting a pre-trial hearing.
