Armed Robbery at Pharmacy 03/25/06

The hold-up happened at the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Amber Lane around 4:30 Friday afternoon.. Police say a black man walked into the store with a gun. The gunman threatened the clerk and stole cigarettes. A witness tried to stop him but he pointed a gun at him. Police have released a a description of the suspect. They say he is a black male, approximately 40 years of age. 6 feet tall. He was wearing a grey shirt and light colored jeans and a black Dolphins NFL jacket. Any information you are asked to call Wilkes-Barre Police or 9-1-1.
