Man Rescued in Fiery Wreck 3/23/06

A fiery 2-car crash in Wilkes-Barre this afternoon and a man is trapped inside when a car goes up in flames. It happened on Wilkes-Barre boulevard around 2 this afternoon. Witnesses say a car collided with an SUV near the Cross Valley Expressway, sending the SUV rolling. When it stopped, several people passing by jumped to action to rescue the injured man trapped inside. Triumph R. Iomega/Witness "It looked like it was in flames because the gas was leaking so we hopped out. I didn`t even think we pryed him out of the car." The man in the car, who`s name has not been released, was taken to the hospital. There`s no word on his condition. Police are still investigating.
