A convicted arsonist is sentenced in Lackawanna County Court today.
44-year-old Fredrick Perry was sentenced to serve 12 years to 57 years in prison.
He was convicted of using gasoline to start a fire at a double block home on the 600 block of Hemlock Street in Scranton in January of last year.
The blaze caused heavy fire, heat and smoke damage in one half, and smoke damage in the other half.
Perry`s ex-girlfriend lived in the home and she had a protection from abuse order against him at the time of the fire.
