Crestwood Teachers Closer to New Contract 1/17/06

The Crestwood School District and its teachers, have reached a tenative contract agreement.
It came early Monday morning after 45 hours of nonstop court-ordered talks at the Luzerne County Courthouse.
Details of the agreement are being kept under wraps. The judge`s gag order remains in place.
Both the school board and the teachers union are expected to vote on the tenative deal on Thursday and if ratified, it would end a nearly 4-year labor dispute.
