One Step Closer to Slots at Pocono Downs 12/8/05

It`s another step towards bringing slots to Northeast Pennsylvania. Today the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority filed its application for a gaming license with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. They are the first in the state to file an application to operate slots... and it wasn`t an easy process. The entire filing was some 40 feet long and weighed more than a half ton! Applications are being accepted through December 28th. The board is expected to issue a total of 14.
