Fire in the Poconos 12/1/05

An early morning fire destroys a home in Monroe County.
Several crews were called to this fire on Smith Road in Hamilton Township.
Firefighters say when they got there, the home was fully engulfed.
It took crews more than a hour to extinguish the flames and hot spots... and crews had to tank in water which slowed the fire fight.
The home and an attached workshop burned to the ground.
Fire marshalls are now investigating the cause.
No one was home when the blaze broke out.
