Slick Condition Cause Travel Concerns

The police officers were injured- while responding to a crash on the Scranton Expressway. It happened in the South Bound Lanes, that`s when a second car- went out of control and slammed into the police crusier....one officer was inside the other outside the car. Officers Kathy Gilroy and James Priorielli are at Scranton CMC Thursday night....their injuries are not life threatening. The driver of the car was not hurt,charges will not be filed--police say it was accidental. The Scranton Expressway was closed for a time--- while the wreckage was cleared. If you have a travel concern about an area roadway, do not call police. Motorists can get updated road conditions at 1-800-331-3414.
