Old Forge Teachers Return To Class 10/19/05

After nearly a month on the picket line, teachers in the Old Forge School District traded in their strike signs for lesson plans.
For the first time since September 22nd school is in session in the Lackawanna County District, but teachers still do not have a contract.
Students, and parents were pleased to be back in class, but there is a chance of another strike.
Healthcare premiums and salaries are at the heart of this labor dispute.
Now the district and teachers union will go to arbitration, if both sides do not agree, Old Forge teachers could walk out again.
