Flu Vaccinations 10/11/05

A big turn-out for a tiny dose today in Dunmore. People were lining up to get vaccinated.
The Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging held a flu-shot clinic at the Dunmore Senior Center.
More than 70 senior citizens lined up to get their shots.
It`s an annual tradition that health officials say could save their lives.
"The elderly have a better chance of getting ill of course, of getting the flu and of course they don`t have a great immune system. so if they didn`t get it and get the flu, their chances of mortality are so much higher."
People under 65 will not be able to get their flu shots until late October unless they are chronically sick.
