Lackawanna County Drug Bust 8/30

A Moosic man and his girlfriend are in police custody, facing drug and firearms charges.
Detectives say an undercover drug buy lead to the arrests of 22-year-old Steven Sampson and 23-year-old Jayme Joann Baronski.
Officers seized more than a pound of cocaine with a street value of over $50,000. They also confiscated $12,000 in cash, marijuana, a 22 caliber rifle and surveillance equipment.
Arrest papers say the drugs were picked up in New York City to be sold here.
