Police Search For Killer 8/24/05

Police are searching for a Police Officer they say is a "person of interest" in the murder of his estranged wife outside a Northumberland County hospital this morning. Investigators are looking for 31 year-old Richard Curran of Shamokin. His wife, Tina Curran, of Mount Carmel was shot several times at the loading dock of the Shamokin Area Community Hospital around 11 this morning. Tina Curran was taken to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where she later died. Curran is is a Police Officer with the Bernville Police Department in Berks County. He is described as a white man, about 6-feet tall, medium build, blue eyes, short brown hair. Curran may be driving a metallic blue Ford with Pennsylvania plates ENP 8872.
