A man in state prison for killing a Wilkes-Barre woman while eluding police is dead after hanging himself in his cell. Steve Martin of Hunlock Creek was serving time at Camp Hill State Prison near Harrisburg after pleading guilty to a December 2004 fatal car crash. State police called Martin a "person of interest" in the disappearance of Phylicia Thomas and Jen Barziloski -- both from the Sweet Valley area. Officals say Martin hanged himself yesterday morning and was flown to Hersey Medical Center... where he died this morning.
