Man Seen Beating Little Girl 8/5/05

State Police are trying to track down a man seen beating a young girl in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Hazle Township Friday afternoon. Police say the man was seen striking the girl, who is about three-years-old after she fell out of a shopping cart. The suspect is described as a hispanic man, about 5-feet 10 inches tall, 200 pounds, 30 years-old, with black hair down to his waist in a pony tail. He was last seen in an older model Plymouth grand voyager minivan with wood paneling. It had Pennsylvania plates GBN 3989. If you have any information, call State Police Hazleton at 459-3890.
