By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
Art Zulick was sworn in by President Judge Ronald Vican to a term that ends December 31st. Actually, Zulick is running for one of two county judgeships up in the November election. His opponents are Jon Mark, a Republican, and Jennifer Wise, a Democrat. In the May primary, Zulick won the top Democratic and Republican spots on the November ballot, while Wise and Mark finished second on the Democratic and Republican ballots, respectively. One of the bench seats opened when Judge Peter O`Brien announced his retirement. The other is the seat that would be filled now by former District Attorney Mark Pazuhanich, except for his resignation after pleading no contest in a child molestation case.
