Lt. Al Bogdon died at his home Sunday morning. Bogdon was involved in all aspects of law enforcement for more than 20 years. He was especially well-known for his handling of the always high tension domestic calls. Flags are flyng at half staff at Wilkes-Barre Police Headquarters and other city-owned buildings. 52-year-old Bogden was going to retire at the end of this year. He leaves behind a wife, a daughter and a son.
