An investigation is underway into the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Luzerne County District Attorney`s office is investigating for possible missing funds. Make-A-Wish Board Of Director Joe Millazo says they handed an internal investigation over to the D-A`s office. He says they want to get to the bottom of any possible problems. Chief Executive Officer Jessie Hardie, and Vice-President Art Owens were both fired last week, but officials would not say why. Owens tells WBRE News he did not take any cash from the charity, and says his name will be cleared. Hardie did not return our calls.
