Pittston Township Turnpike Accident 4/6/05

By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
Police say the driver of a tractor trailer was speeding, when he flipped his rig on an exit ramp off the turnpike today. 37 year-old Boris Kondarassov spilled his cargo of pineapples all over the road, after his 18-wheeler crashed in Pittston Township just before 1 p.m. Police tell us the rig was going too fast on the ramp, causing the truck to roll to its side, and strike several cement barriers, before coming to a stop. Charges are pending against the driver, who was flown to Scranton C-M-C with sever injuries.
