Official Cause of Downed Plane in Lackawanna County 3/1/05

By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
You may remember, a small plane took off from Seamons Airport in Factoryville last April. It soon developed engine problems and landed near some homes in a field in Taylor. The two people on board, 41-year-old Tim Morgan of Scranton and Doctor Robert Schreckengaust of Exeter, were not hurt but the plane was severely damaged. The NTSB confirms it was a mechanical problem, and not pilot error.
