Providing healthcare for low-income Pennsylvanians and reducing health care costs for the rest of us are the major goals of a state initiative unveiled Monday by Governor Ed Rendell in Harrisburg..
The state reached an agreement with Pennsylvania`s four Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans.
It calls for using a certain amount of everyone`s premium..to go toward healthcare for uninsured residents. These are people who are working, but can not afford health insurance. The governor says its a win-win for everyone involved. The governor says the agreement will help at least 100,000 residents pay for health insurance...
