Elderly Woman On Trial For Murder 2/1/05

Eleanor Nicolosi now in her early seventies was charged with the crime in September 2001. Detectives say she shot her husband, 75 year-old Francis Nicolosi at their Cresco home then wrapped him in a carpet and left him in the backyard. Family members were on hand Tuesday for opening remarks and the beginning of testimony. Friends are also expected to testify that Nicolosi feared his wife would kill him.
