A Connecticut Group.,"The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority", paid $280-million dollars for the harness racing track and 5 off-track betting parlors across the state.
They will also spend another $175-million to build the slot machine casino and paid the $50-million dollar state gambling license.
The facilty will include a restaurant, food court and lounges. It should be finished sometime next year.
