Search for Sex Offender- 1/20/05

An Amber alert was issued in Florida yesterday for an 11-year-old boy police believe was abducted.
Authorities are searching for Adam Kirkirt who was last seen Tuesday afternoon in Dunnellon, Florida about 75 miles northwest of Orlando.
They believe Kirkirt may be with a man identified as Frederick Fretz... a convicted sex offender in Pennsylvania and Arizona.
Fretz was roommates with the boy`s father and reportedly took him to and from school on occasion.
Police say he picked Adam up at school yesterday and neither have been seen since.
The boy`s father says he had no idea Fretz was a known sex offender.
