It happened at the River street on-ramp at around 9:30am. Investigators say a home heating and fuel delivery truck smashed into the side of a car and an S-U-V causing one of them to hit a dump truck. A valve on the oil tanker was broken and fuel started leaking onto the highway. Lackawanna county E.M.A. arrived on the scene within minutes and began working to clean up the mess. "They were very lucky 2 vehicles involves and a tanker truck, no critical injuries no fatalities... pretty fortunate with this one." Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Investigators say the driver of the oil truck did not pay attention to construction signs and failed to break when the traffic in front of him slowed down.
