Hazleton Robberies

Robberies at two Luzerne county businesses may have been the work of the same suspect. The hold-ups happened within 15 minutes of each other in Hazleton... at the Great Wall Chinese restaurant and a Pantry Quick on Diamond avenue. In both robberries -- a man with an identical description demanded money while waiving a crow-bar. He got away with an undetermined amount of cash form the Pantry Quick but didn`t get anything from the restaurant. Police are asking anyone with information on the crimes to contact Hazleton police at 459-4940.
