Hundreds Lose Jobs

A major hit to the local economy, as 200 people at the New Dana Purfumes plant in Luzerne County learned Friday they are losing their jobs.
The plant, which has been making purfumes at the Crestwood Industrial Park in Wright Township for 40 years, will close down in 60 days.
New Dana executives did not return calls from WBRE 28 news about why they are shutting down.
New dana makes several brands of perfumes, including English Leather, Taboo and Fetish
