Scranton police have one man in custody and are searching for an accomplice after a theft at a house of worship. It happened at Saint Lucy`s church on Scranton street after the 11 o-clock mass on Sunday morning. Police say 42-year-old Michael Hutters of Scranton got up from the first pew and grabbed two fistfuls of donations from the tabernacle area during the final procession. Investigators say Hutters stuffed the money into a black bag but parishioners noticed and about 90-people cornered him. Detectives then say he dropped the bag and a woman with him picked it up and left the church. Police say Hutters refuses to identify the woman. He`s in jail tonight on 15-thousand dollars bail.
