The Wyoming Valley Children’s Association is
the topic of this Sunday’s
WBRE TV Newsmakers.
The public affairs program is hosted Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda
and
Andy Mehalshick .
Giving Every Child the
Bugda and Mehalshick will have as their
guests Sharon Harry, Executive Director of WVCA, Kevin Kane, President the WVCA
of the Board of Directors, Chris Granahan, a parent who’s child attends WVCA. Father Jim Paisley of St. Therese’s Church in
Shavertown will also be part of the panel.
Rev. Paisley recently recorded a Christmas CD “My Grown-up Christmas Wish”
for the agency. The proceeds will
benefit the programs and services the WVCA offers. Rev. Paisley will discuss the making of CD.
The group will talk about the history of
WVCA and its programs. The panel will
also discuss how the agency is planning for the next 85 years.
