Updated: January 25, 2007
It happened around 3PM Saturday, just after Tigue Street heading toward Dunmore/Scranton. Police say 23-year old Francisco Pons, III, was changing lanes when he struck an S-U-V. Both vehicles then spun out of control and ended up in a rocky embankment. Pons had to be freed from the wreckage. A 10-month old child and a 3-year old child were in the car at the time. They were not injured. Pons may face charges. The driver of the S-U-V suffered minor injuries.
