Neil Allen's Future on Stroudsburg Council is Unclear

Stroudsburg, Monroe County- A Monroe County an area councilman is accused of allegedly buying and using drugs.
Neil Allen is the Vice President of the Stroudsburg Borough Council and now the future of his position is unclear.
People fired questions to borough leaders at Wednesday night's council meeting about the charges.
Police say 34-year-old Allen confessed to buying and using the drugs.
A statement regarding the future of Allen's seat was expected at the meeting -- but nothing was decided.
Allen did not show up to last night's meeting.
Borough leaders say they don't have the authority to remove him from his council seat unless he is convicted on the drug charges.
