The Pocono Mountain School District Administrative raises range from three to thirty-five-percent.
Overall they add up to about one-hundred-seventy-thousand-dollars a year.

Dozens of managers and administrators in the the Pocono Mountain School District are scheduled to get pay increases.
The school board said those employees deserve raises because they voluntarily took a two year pay freeze.

Most raises will be three-percent.
Six employees will get raises worth more than thirty-percent.

The school district spokesperson, Wendy Frable, said the larger raises coincide with increased work loads.
Over the past several years - the district has furloughed off hundreds of workers. According to a spokesperson, some of their workload fell on the remaining staffers.

The District's highest administrator - Superintendent Elizabeth Robson will not get a raise. She makes  $150,000. one-hundred-fifty-thousand-dollars a year.

Some taxpayers have complained that Pocono mountain will give raises while it considers closing two schools -Barrett Elementary and Pocono Elementary. Frable said those are two separate issues. And the raises will happen whether or not schools close next year.
Frable also said the raises will not lead to any tax increase.
