Bishop Bambera Celebrating Mass Thursday for Pope Benedict

Scranton, Lackawanna County- In gratitude for Pope Benedict XVI's years of service, the Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L., Bishop of Scranton, will celebrate the 12:10 p.m. Mass on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Saint Peter's Cathedral in Scranton.

The liturgy will give thanksgiving for the Holy Father's ministry and for his well being in retirement. All are welcome to attend the Mass. CTV: Catholic Television will broadcast the Mass live and air rebroadcasts at 3:30 and 7:00 p.m.
