Governor Orders Pennsylvania flags at Half Staff in Honor Of Eric Williams

Harrisburg - Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Luzerne County to fly at half-staff in honor of Corrections Officer Eric Williams.

Williams, 34, of Nanticoke, was killed while performing his duties Monday evening at Canaan federal penitentiary in Wayne County. Flags shall remain at half-staff until interment.

All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
