Scranton, Lackawanna County-  The Psychological Services Center at Marywood University will host an Eating
Disorder Screening program on Thursday, April 4th. The screenings will be
free and anonymous. Pre-registration is not required-everyone is
welcome! The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the
Psychological Services Center on campus.

"We want people to realize that it's an eating disorder screening, but please come whether you think you have an eating disorder or not because ultimately there are issues that we can be struggling with that can take us down that road or not. We want to intervene early that is key and crucial to intervene early" noted  Tracie Pasold, Eating Disorder specialist
Marywood Student Colleen Siti, is one of the organizers of the event. She stressed the importance of this screening for women and men. "Eating disorders are extremely common and often go undiagnosed. It's important to prevent problematic behaviors from evolving into full-fledged eating disorders. Come get screened to find out more about your own eating attitudes and behaviors."
