Scranton, Lackawanna County- Northeastern Pennsylvania is facing the highest unemployment rate in the state.  To help bring new jobs to the area economic officials are trying to market the region to businesses.
The annual  Winter Festival was held at Sno Mountain on Wednesday.
More than 100 real estate brokers, consultants and business executives from other areas were treated to skiing and dinner.
Organizers say the event helps market the region.
A majority of people at today's festival were from New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
The event was sponsored by Penn's Northeast, Can-DO, Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce,  Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce and Scranton Plan an affiliate of the Scranton Chamber of Commerce.
