Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- A Luzerne County couple says they still want to know why it took Wilkes-Barre police some 90 minutes to respond to a drive-by shooting at their home..

Someone fired at least three shots into the home of Robert Flippines and Toni Root on North Penn Avenue yesterday afternoon.
Nobody was injured in the shooting but the couple say they don't understand why it took the police  so long to respond.
They called the I-Team seeking our help and we called police headquarters and an officer was at the home in a matter of minutes..

Late this afternoon Wilkes-Barre City Spokesman Drew McLaughlin responded to the I-Team

911 reported to police of shots fired at the residence. No injuries.
Non-emergency call. All available officers were tied up on 911 calls of
their own and a police officer was dispatched as soon as a unit became
available. If the call was of an emergency nature, police would have been
able to redeploy a unit to handle the call immediately.
