Marshalls Creek, Monroe County - PennDOT finished a major Pocono construction project a day earlier than expected.

The Seven Bridge Road project was finished Thursday afternoon. "Hopefully, you know, people start realizing it's open and they start coming this way again," said Kelly Howard of Kelly's Bagels and Deli. Her business is near the closure.

She said the three month project devastated her deli. She told Eyewitness News she lost a third of her customers. She frowned," About two-three weeks ago we actually almost closed up."

Victor Hellstrom also owns a business in Jay Park Plaza. It's for your health medical supply. He said his customers have struggled to navigate the detour.  He added, "They were complaining. They were lost all the time."

So he was happy to see the road reopened at about three Thursday afternoon. He smiled, "I think it's good. We've been going around in circles here for a while and it'd be nice to go out and through our new bridge."
