Gas Leak in Kingston (December 3)

Kingston, Luzerne County-Utility crews were on the scene finishing repairing a gas leak that triggered an evacuation.
Workers surrounded the leak in Kingston this morning near John Street and Mercer Avenue.
Police say crews were first on the scene fixing a water leak.
They accidentally struck a gas line around 10 a-m.
That forced authorities to evacuate a nearby school, dozens of homes and even Bonner Chevrolet a block away.
Students at Schuyler Elementary School had to evacuate to the middle school.
