HOWARD: We could only highlight a few things this week that made Mr. Food, the loveable character he was. As we wrap up our celebration of the life and the legacy of, our good friend Art Ginsburg, one thing that really stood out to anyone who knew him was his love of "traditions"...and one tradition that Art shared in our office, was every Friday morning he would stop by a local bakery on his way into work, to bring each one of us a warm, freshly baked, loaf of bread. JAIME: It was important to him to share the tradition of breaking bread with family at home. HOWARD: It was his way of saying to everyone in our office, "you're family" and "you mean so much to me" JAIME: The past few months when Art wasn't feeling so up to it, Howard and Steve would make sure that we didn't feel the void and they stopped for us in the mornings on Fridays and would bring in fresh bread for us, so that it was a tradition that was kept going and that we continued to move forward because that's what Art would have wanted. HOWARD: Often times on Mondays, we would share with each other our "bread stories" as we'd call them, and one recipe that was always a favorite is Mr. Food's baked French Toast Souffl, so in remembrance of Art, we posted that recipe for you to help us carry on this tradition. JAIME: He treated everybody the same and made everyone feel special. And just thank him for the honor of working for him and having him as part of my life and my family's life for the past 9 plus years. HOWARD: We'll never forget Art as we forge ahead and build upon the legacy he started, that's what he wanted. It's his way of spreading a lifetime more of "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!"
