Scranton, Lackawanna County - Hundreds of families turned out Wednesday night to see the "holiday train" make a stop in Lackawanna County.

Canadian Pacific's Holiday Train began its 14th annual ride across the country from Scranton just before 6:30 PM.

The holiday train raises money and food for local organizations.

The train includes a performance stage and 14 rail cars with hundreds-of-thousands of LED lights.

Organizers say it takes 30 employees a total of 100 days to decorate the holiday train.

All of the food collected Wednesday night will stay in northeastern Pennsylvania.
