Mocanaqua Boil Water Advisory Lifted

Pennsylvania American Water customers in Mocanaqua no longer have to boil their water before use. Acceptable bacteria test results were obtained from samples collected on November 26 and 27, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting of the precautionary advisory.

This notice applies to customers in Mocanaqua.

The boil advisory was issued November 26, 2012 due to malfunctioning signal equipment at a storage tank.

Pennsylvania American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. For more information, contact Pennsylvania American Water's customer service center at (800) 565-7292.
