Exeter, Luzerne County - Four police officers are now resting in their homes after being hit by a car. The accident happened in Exeter at the Turkey Hill along Wyoming Avenue around 7 o'clock Sunday night. Eyewitnesses say the car jumped a curb hitting one of the officers causing him to fall onto three other officers. The car then slammed into a trash can, stopping just short of crashing into the store.Officers are treating the case as an accident, but their investigation continues.
