East Stroudsburg, Monroe County - If you've ever driven through the Poconos, you may have seen a man dancing alone near busy streets. His name is Dequan Waters-Smith.

He said he's trying to spread joy and happiness."I like to, you know, have people open their minds," he added.

Dequan told Eyewitness News he started last March on a whim. Every few days he grabs his MP3 player and starts to dance for the public. He said artists like Michael Jackson inspire him. He added, "Other people like Neo and Usher and Chris Brown and Justin Bieber even and stuff, I watch their dance moves and learn from them."

Dequan loves when his moves make someone forget about their problems. He said, "Sometimes people like throw things and me like money and stuff like that but nothing too bid."

He doesn't dance to make money. He said he does it to bring joy.
