State Police Search for Megan's Law Offender

Monroe County- State Police in the Poconos are searching for an out-of-State registered sex offender.
 
     Troopers are looking for 52-year-old James Smoot.
     They say his last known address was from two-years ago in Eldred Township on Mountain View Drive.
     State Police say Smoot is out of compliance with his Megan's Law registration requirements.
     Anyone who knows Smoot's whereabouts is urged to call the State Police Lehighton Barracks.
