Fire Drill Turns into Real Emergency

Shickshinny, Luzerne County-A fire drill turned into a full-blown emergency when a house caught fire near a firefighter training exercise in Shickshinny
Crews stopped what they were doing at the nearby highrise and arrived at the scene of the fire.
Officials said the single family home had been flooded, so the first floor was virtually empty.
The second floor sustained most of the damage.
Though most of the home now has smoke and water damage.
We're told because of the close proximity of fire crews, response times were excellent.
There's also no word on a cause. State Police Fire Marshal will investigate.
