PennDOT's NEPA Roadwork Schedule for October 5 to 14

INTERSTATE 80

 
Exit 273 (White Haven/Freeland) to Exit 262 (Mountain Top/Hazleton) - Westbound, alternating lane closures - Tuesday thru Thursday
 
INTERSTATE 81
Exit 155 (Dorrance) to Exit 159 (Nuangola): Northbound; Concrete Patching, Right Lane Closure, Wed-Thurs 7am-3pm
Exit 168 (Highland Park) to Exit 159 (Nanticoke) - Sunday Southbound; Monday - Wednesday, Northbound - 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Single Lane Closure
Exit 165 (Mountain Top/Ashley) to Exit 164 (Nanticoke), southbound - Wilkes-Barre Twp: Bridge Deck Repair, Alternating Lane Restrictions, Tues-Thurs 9am-2pm
*Exit 188 (Dunmore/Throop) to Exit 194 (Clarks Summit) North:  Motorists should be alert for lane shifts and alternating traffic patterns.  This should not cause delays, but motorists are urged to use caution in the work zone. 
*Exit 190 (Main Avenue) - South: The ramp from Main Avenue, Dickson City to I-81 South is closed; detour is 81 North to Exit 191B, back to 81 South. The ramp from I-81 South to Main Avenue is now utilizing the old on-ramp, so access from 81 to Main Avenue is still possible. Motorists should use extreme caution in this area.
Exit 206 (Glenwood/Lenoxville) to Exit 211 (Lenox) - Tuesday - SB; Wednesday and Thursday - NB; Single lane closures.
*Exit 230 (Great Bend) New traffic patterns effective on north and south bound. Single lane traffic. Delays should be expected. There are single lane closure on I-81 northbound from Exit 230 (Great Bend-Susquehanna) to the New York border. There is also a single lane closure on I-81 southbound from Exit 225 (New Milford) to 219 (Gibson) for micro seal paving operations. Work should continue for next several weeks. Motorist should use caution while traveling through the area and use alternate routes. The work is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday


INTERSTATE 84:
*Exit 20 West: (Greentown/Lake Wallenpaupack) to Exit 17 (Newfoundland/Hamlin); westbound; single lane for milling, paving and guiderail repair. NOTE: This work will continue until October 2012.
*New York: There is a significant deck rehabilitation project Interstate 84 East in New York, from the PA/NY border to NY Exit 1. This work will take place until October and delays may back up into Pennsylvania.
