9/8 Crestwood Field Hockey Coach Wins 600th Game

The only field hockey coach in Crestwood High School reached a milestone today in Selinsgrove.
Elvetta Gemski started the program in Mountaintop nearly 40 years ago. Her Lady Comets competed in a tournament this afternoon on the turf in Selinsgrove.
In game one the Comets defeated the lady Seals one to nothing, and in game two Crestwood defeated Mifflin County high school seven to nothing to give Gemski career win six hundred for her career, all while winning over eighty-three percent of her games.
After the game she talked about her coaches, her current team, and her former players who all helped make this achievement possible.
