Casey Eichfeld Ready For London Waters On Sunday

Casey Eichfeld represents Northeastern Pennsylvania as he tackles the waters in London on Sunday.
The Drums native will compete in the opening heats of Canoe at 8:30am.
If he advances, Eichfeld would run the semifinals on Monday.
Eichfeld is the only American entry in the C-1 (one-man closed canoe) event.
Returning to his second Olympics, Eichfeld was only 18-years-old when he finished 11th at the 2008 Beijing Games.
Eichfeld told local reporters his first Olympics was like a dream. But, Eichfeld was disappointed with the results.
He spends the majority of his his time on whitewater; either training and competing in top level international races or teaching group and private clinics around Charlotte, North Carolina.
