Pit Bull Attack Under Investigation

Hazle Township, Luzerne County- People living in a Luzerne County neighborhood say they fear for the safety of their children after an 11 year old boy was attacked by a pit bull.
 
         Chris Nayhay was attacked by the dog last Friday near his north James Street home in Hazle Township.
    He suffered bite wounds to  his leg and arm.
    The leg wound required stitches
The dog remains quarantined inside the owner's home.
    State Police have filed citations against the owner.
    The State Dog Warden is still investigating and could also file citations.
