Collection Jar with Donations for Lackawanna County Animal Shelter Stolen

Police are searching for those responsible for stealing a collection jar for the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
  According to police someone broke into   Discount Tobacco in Blakely, Lackawanna County      The thieves smashed into the business and grabbed the jar and took off.  It had roughly one thousand dollars in donations.
   Griffin Pond relies on donations to help keep the shelter running.  Our Mark Hiller will have more on this story on Eyewitness News.
